SIG, one of the premier employee benefit consulting firms in the country, has been selected to The Baltimore Sun “Top Workplaces” list. This was the first year that companies under 50 employees have been included in the program and SIG ranked 3rd in the Small Business category (under 150 employees) out of 65 companies. The Baltimore-based company was also recently named as the Number 1 Best Places to Work in the country by the national publication, Business Insurance.
“Our consistent recognitions as a top workplace is a reflection of our commitment to culture and the wellbeing of our employees,” said Richard Silberstein, President of SIG. “We see a direct correlation between health, wellbeing and employee performance and satisfaction. This is embedded in our own company culture and is translated into the programs we provide to our clients.”
The Baltimore Sun Top Workplaces listings are determined entirely by employee feedback and conducted by Workplace Dynamics, LLC, a leading research firm specializing in organizational health and workplace improvement. Employees are asked to provide input and evaluation on a variety of issues including corporate values and ethics, internal communication and education and the perceived direction of the firm. There were over 1300 companies who participated in the survey in 2015.
The Baltimore Sun published the complete list of Top Workplaces on Sunday, December 6.
